From February 25, 2026, an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) is required for all visitors who currently do not need a travel visa for short stays to the UK, or who do not already have a UK immigration status prior to travelling.

An ETA can be applied for online and will be electronically linked to the visitor’s passport, giving permission to travel to the UK.

An ETA will last for two years or until the expiry date of your passport (whichever is sooner).

FutureNet encourages all delegates to check if they need a visa to enter the UK before travelling.

Visa Support 

We can supply registered delegates with a visa support letter stating you wish to attend an event organised by FutureNet. To request a visa support letter, please forward your registration confirmation email to info@futurenetworld.net

The InterContinental is a 5-minute walk from North Greenwich Station on the London Underground’s Jubilee Line.

From Heathrow Airport

Take the Elizabeth line to Canary Wharf from Heathrow Terminals, 2, 3, 4 or 5. From BCanary Wharf take the Jubilee line eastbound and alight at North Greenwich. The InterContinental Hotel is a 5 minute walk.

Note: Whereas the Heathrow Express offers the fastest route to central London, it is not the most efficient and will result in extra time and expense.

From Gatwick Airport

There are regular trains from Gatwick Airport to London Victoria and London Bridge stations.

From London Victoria: take the Victoria line northbound for one stop to Green Park. From Green Park, switch to the Jubilee line eastbound and alight at North Greenwich.

From London Bridge: take the Jubilee line eastbound and alight at North Greenwich.

From London City Airport

Take the Docklands Light Railway (DLR) service heading toward Canning Town. At Canning Town station, transfer to the Jubilee line westbound and alight at North Greenwich.

From Central London

Transit is available on direct trains from major central London stations Waterloo, Bond Street and London Bridge.
