His team plays a key role in advancing Lumen’s own use of AI—powering autonomous network capabilities and modernizing core business processes to accelerate efficiency and value creation for customers and the enterprise.

With more than three decades in the global telecommunications sector, Fred is recognized as a seasoned industry leader. His career spans senior executive roles with both service providers and technology vendors across multiple continents. Prior to joining Lumen, he served as Head of Network Development at Vodafone UK, where he led large‑scale transformation and network evolution initiatives.
