Andrew Collinson is an independent advisor, researcher, and moderator focused on growth strategy in telecoms and connected technologies.

His current focus is how to turn technologies such as AI, networks APIs and CPaaS into practical business models and new sources of value in telecoms.

He is co-founder of Unthinkable with fellow analyst Dean Bubley, curating multi-stakeholder sessions to address complex challenges, and is also Associate Research Director at CPaaSAA, researching AI Voice, Network APIs, Agentic AI and Intelligent Engagement – the business vision of conducting real-time customer interactions at scale.

With 40 years of experience in telecoms, including roles at BT and O2 spanning engineering, strategy, marketing, and new ventures, he previously spent 15 years at STL Partners as Research and Commercial Director, building a high-growth research business with a global reputation.
