Keng Chee Chan serves as General Manager of TM Research & Development (TM R&D), a wholly owned subsidiary of TM Group. He leads research teams in executing projects encompassing advanced analytics, fixed and wireless connectivity, artificial intelligence, IoT, and cutting-edge digital platforms.

With a career spanning over 25 years, Chee Chan’s expertise in the world of software product innovation cut across various industries including telecommunication, insurance, cybersecurity, consumer analytics, and automotive industry. As a dedicated technology evangelist, he passionately champions the incubation of technology development and fosters talent growth through Agile ways of working with co-creation business partners.

Chee Chan started his career in 1997 as a software engineer in General Motors, where he digitized electromotive systems using embedded computers. He later moved to Motorola where he spent several years in developing OSS systems for telecommunication industry. Subsequently, he assumed roles in F-Secure as Program Manager for Cybersecurity Research, Experian as Head of Product Development for Consumer Insights products, and Manulife as Head of Strategy and Innovation. Today, he continues to drive innovation in his current capacity as the General Manager of TM R&D.

Chee Chan holds Master’s of Business Administration from University of Strathclyde, UK, Master’s Degree in Computer Science, and Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Illinois Institute of Technology, USA.
