Faisal is the Cloud & Security Technology Director, Business CIO at BT, leading a global team responsible for powering some of the largest revenue generating products at BT, including the flagship Network as a Service and Security solutions. With two decades of telecoms expertise, he has a proven track record of delivering technology solutions for Fortune 500 companies and driving recognised innovation.
Notably, Faisal spearheaded the delivery of BT’s renowned OTT Telco business “DigiCo” and set up the BT Global Configuration Hub that earned the prestigious Gartner Business Process Excellence award. Before this, he served as a regional CIO in Asia, Middle East and Africa, where he successfully delivered IT for some of the largest global MNCs, showcasing his practical approach to technology innovation as a powerful tool for business transformation. As truly global leader, Faisal leads his team across multiple and has established an international reputation for digital leadership.
Faisal is well recognised for this thought leadership in the industry, as he shares insights at industry forums and contributes to media and publications. In the Asia Pacific region, he is highly regarded in the Technology senior leadership circuit and has also served as the vice-chair of the ICT committee within the British Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, representing BT Group.
