Greg Freeman is Vice President of Architecture and Automation at Lumen Technologies, with 25 years of experience in telecommunications and Internet engineering. He leads the deployment of automation and AI across Lumen’s Global Commercial Operations, building on a deep background in network operations spanning transport, IP, IPVPN, metro, and VoIP. Greg partners with cross-functional teams of engineers and developers to modernize operations and accelerate the organization’s AI capabilities. He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Arkansas and completed Lumen’s Executive Development Program at the University of North Carolina. Outside of work, he’s an avid traveler and licensed drone pilot who has visited all 50 U.S. states.
