Víctor Fernández (he/him) is Manager of Network SW & APIs at Vodafone Group, leading the development of Network APIs that expose Vodafone’s network capabilities to business platforms and third party developers. His work aims to make networks more flexible, accessible, and innovation ready by lowering the barriers for new services and applications.

Víctor began his career building deep expertise in Mobile Networks across terminals, radio, and core teams in both Spain and the UK. During his time in the New Technologies & Innovation team, he became recognized as an industry leader in cellular connected drones, achieving two world first milestones, delivering multiple Mobile World Congress demos, co authoring ExCo papers, publishing several articles and whitepapers, and securing multiple patents.

Now focused on the software domain, Víctor has transformed himself into a software engineer and advocates strongly for Network APIs as a key driver for Vodafone’s future. He currently manages the development team within Network as a Platform, working to expand Vodafone’s opportunities beyond core connectivity through programmable network capabilities.
