Vijay Sivaraman is CEO of Canopus Networks, which he co-founded in 2018 leveraging 12+ years of deep research as Professor of Telecommunications at UNSW Sydney. He is a pioneer in software defined networking, combining it with AI to enable high-grade observability for operators of network infrastructure, allowing them to provide the best experience to users on their streaming, gaming, voice/video calling, and other online activities. Vijay holds a PhD from UCLA supported on a Fellowship from Bell Labs, and has worked as an early engineer at a silicon-valley startup building optical switch-routers.
